ABOUT
Bree Nichols is a young American soprano praised for her “rich vocal disposition” (KlasikaPlus) and compelling stage presence. A Fulbright alumna to the Czech Republic and currently based in Prague, Bree is known for her sensitive interpretations of Czech vocal music as well as over a dozen operatic roles spanning a diverse repertoire. Her recent performances include in the title roles of Jenůfa, Káťa Kabanová, and Rusalka as well as Violetta (La traviata) and Mimì (La bohème) across the U.S. and Europe. SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
Following her first summer at Glyndebourne covering the role of Tosca, Bree debuts the title roles of Manon Lescaut and Didon at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and debuts with the Prague Symphony Orchestra with conductor Tomáš Netopil. She reprises the roles of Mimì (La bohème) and Violetta (La traviata) and premieres the title role of Die toten Augen, alongside the release of newly-commissioned works with the Nürnberger Symphoniker.
