Souhvězdí (Constellations) — A Fulbright Celebration of Czech Composers

Experience an evening of inspiration and celestial sounds as Fulbright alumni—cellist Tomáš Jamník, pianist Isabel Keleti, and soprano Bree Nichols—present an evening of Czech music at Prague's Atrium Žižkov.

This musical constellation connects melodic and thematic threads across time, from beloved works like Leoš Janáček’s Fairytale, Bohuslav Martinů’s Slovak Variations, and Antonín Dvořák’s Silent Woods to rare gems by Czech women composers Agnes Tyrell, Julie Reisserová, and Vítězslava Kaprálová. 

Songs from Novák’s Melancholy Songs About Love and Foerster’s 3 Nocturnes will complete the constellation, drawing you into a soundworld where memory, desire, and starlight converge.
